Shrove Tuesday
Join us for a time of food, fellowship, and celebration at our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 pm. This beloved annual tradition invites all ages to gather for a relaxed and joyful evening as we prepare our hearts for the season of Lent.
Shrove Tuesday, often known as Mardi Gras or “Fat Tuesday,” marks the day before Ash Wednesday and has long been a time to enjoy rich, festive foods before the more reflective days of Lent begin. At PHLC, we celebrate this tradition with a warm, welcoming supper featuring fluffy pancakes and all the classic fixings, shared around tables filled with laughter and conversation.
This event is perfect for families, friends, and neighbors, offering a casual setting to connect with one another and strengthen our sense of community. Whether you’re a longtime member or joining us for the first time, you’ll find a friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Children and adults alike can enjoy the fun of choosing toppings, sharing stories, and simply being together.
In addition to great food, the evening provides an opportunity to pause and reflect on the meaning of the season ahead. As Lent approaches, this gathering offers a moment to enjoy God’s gifts of community and hospitality before turning toward a time of prayer, reflection, and renewal.
More details about the menu, activities, and volunteer opportunities will be shared soon. For now, mark your calendar and plan to join us for this meaningful and festive evening.
Come hungry, bring your appetite for fellowship, and celebrate Shrove Tuesday with us on February 17 from 5:30–7:30 pm. We look forward to welcoming you for a night of pancakes, joy, and community at PHLC!
