At this session, we’ll be diving into a thought-provoking topic: the ELCA’s social statement in the making, titled “Civic Life and Faith.” The statement explores the relationship between faith and civic engagement, asking important questions about how we, as people of faith, can participate in public life in ways that reflect our beliefs and values. It’s a timely discussion, and we’d love to hear your thoughts, whether you’ve had a chance to read the statement or not.

Don’t worry if you haven’t done any homework! This is a space for everyone—whether you’re ready to discuss the statement in detail, or just want to hang out and enjoy some meaningful conversation. We’ll talk about faith, life, and everything in between over some great beer in a welcoming environment.
