DESCRIPTION:Cooking for Crowds Food Safety Training\nWhether you’re a longtime hospitality volunteer or are interested in helping with future events\, we encourage you to join us for an important and informative food safety training session on Saturday\, September 19\, at 4:00 PM. \nWe are pleased to welcome Beth Kocsis from Penn State\, who will present Cooking for Crowds\, a comprehensive food safety program designed specifically for volunteers who prepare and serve food at nonprofit organizations. This training covers essential food handling practices\, sanitation procedures\, temperature control\, and other important guidelines that help ensure meals are prepared and served safely. \nThis session is strongly recommended for all Hospitality Committee members and for anyone who would like to use the church kitchen for PHLC events. By participating in this training\, you’ll gain valuable knowledge and practical tips that help protect the health and well-being of everyone attending our gatherings. \nFood safety is a shared responsibility\, and your willingness to learn and follow best practices makes a meaningful difference.
