Joint Worship Service & Church Picnic

Join us for a special morning of worship, fellowship, and food as Perry Highway Lutheran Church and Heritage United Presbyterian Church gather together for a Joint Worship Service and Picnic on Sunday, August 30, at 10:00 a.m. For food planning, we ask that you RSVP here. 

This year’s gathering will take place at the Ohio Township Pavilion, located at 325 Nicholson Road, Sewickley, PA 15143. The pavilion offers ample parking, flush restroom facilities, and easy accessibility, making it a comfortable and welcoming location for everyone.

Our worship service will celebrate the unity we share as followers of Christ and the friendships that continue to grow between our congregations. Whether you’ve attended these joint services before or this is your first time, we invite you to come and experience a joyful morning of worship in God’s beautiful creation.

Following worship, we’ll enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch together. Burgers and hot dogs will be provided, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available so everyone can enjoy the meal. To help round out the picnic, we invite each household to bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share.

If you have one, please bring a camp chair or folding chair for additional seating. Picnic tables will be available, but extra chairs will help ensure everyone has a comfortable place to relax, visit, and enjoy the afternoon.

To help us prepare enough food for everyone, we ask that you RSVP in advance. Your response will help us plan quantities and accommodate any dietary needs.

This annual gathering is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships, welcome new friends, and celebrate the gifts of community that God has given us.
