Share the Joy of Giving: Christmas Angel Tree for Glade Run Families

This festive season, let the spirit of giving flourish in your hearts as Perry Highway Lutheran Church partners with the Glade Run Angel Tree program. This cherished tradition allows us to sprinkle some Christmas magic into the lives of children and families supported by Glade Run, a wonderful organization dedicated to nurturing and enriching lives in our community.

All the tags below have been taken, but you can still help Glade Run this season. If you weren’t able to get a tag but would still like to participate, Glade Run suggests monetary donations or gift cards to Walmart, Target, Giant Eagle, Aldi, Amazon, Visa, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Home Depot, Lowes, Sheetz, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Subway, McDonald’s and Walgreens.  If you did take a tag, please bring the unwrapped gift to church by December 3.

🎄 How It Works:

• Pick an Angel Tag: Starting November 12th, angel tags will be ready for you to adopt in our church. These tags are not just pieces of paper; they represent the hopes and wishes of a child. Each tag will indicate the gender, age, and suggested gift items for a needy child.
• Select Your Gift: You can choose from a range of gifts – toys for the little ones, books for the budding reader, craft supplies for the creative minds, warm clothing for the winter days, or essential toiletries.
• Gift Cards: For a versatile gift option, consider gift cards, which empower families to choose.

🎁 Gift Guidelines:

• Unwrapped Joy: Please return your gifts unwrapped. This allows parents the joy of wrapping and presenting the gifts to their children. Simply attach the Glade Run tag securely to your gift.
• Tracking Sheet: When you select a tag, jot down your name on our tracking sheet. This helps us ensure that every angel tag is accounted for and every child’s wish is fulfilled.
• Gift Cards: If you’re giving a gift card, place it in an envelope, note the amount, and attach the Glade Run tag.
• Complete Information: Kindly fill out all the information on the tag to ensure your gift finds its way to the right child.

📅 Important Dates:

• Gift Return: Please bring the gifts to the church by December 3rd. This gives us enough time to get the gifts to Glade Run for distribution.

Every child deserves to feel the warmth of our community’s love, especially at Christmas. By adopting an angel tag, you’re not just giving a gift; you’re giving a child or family a precious moment of joy, a memory that could last a lifetime.
