July 30 – Travel Home

It was up somewhat early today to go to the airport to begin or journey home. With the long lines for security and hundreds of people going through customs along with a short time between flights we were sure we were going to miss our connecting flight. Somehow we made it! The Flight home was then uneventful. We arrived in Pittsburgh later that evening thankful to be safely home and grateful for having an experience of a lifetime.

Experiencing the beauty of God’s creation in Europe, walking in the footsteps of Martin Luther, seeing the country where so much of my family lived and grew and living the history that previously had only been read in books, changed our lives and will forever be engraved in our hearts and minds. What a privilege and blessing this trip has been for our family.
