Our tour ended in Munich, where we took a boring bus tour of the city. We saw the Olympic Village and a huge Television Tower. After the tour, we wandered around the huge outdoor market and watched the glockenspiel at noon.
From Munich, we decided to take a tour of Dachau, one of the many concentration camps of the Holocaust. While it wasn’t related to Martin Luther at all, it was part of an important piece of German history, which was very moving and sad.
That evening we had our farewell dinner and said goodbye to the 9 other people on tour. They came from Columbus, Ohio; Joppa, Maryland; Atlanta, Georgia; San Diego, California; and Brisbane, Australia.
