Infants & Toddlers
Baptism is the planting of the seed of faith, which will be nurtured through the proclamation of the Gospel over the days, months, and years to come by parents, sponsors, and the church. Baptism is a public event for the whole family of God to celebrate, and all of our brothers and sisters in Christ (the whole church) are welcome to participate and be present. See click here to read more about our Baptism. If you would like to have your child baptized at PHLC, click here to download the Baptism form which must be submitted to schedule a Baptism.
Baptisms can be held throughout the year during the early or late service, as scheduled through the church office.
In order to accommodate children of all ages, Perry Highway Lutheran Church provides a cry room where parents or guardians may take infants and/or toddlers during Sunday services.
The nursery is available for infants and toddlers during the late service on Sundays. Two volunteers from the church supervise the nursery. The nursery opens 5 minutes prior to the start of the late service.
During any worship service, there are activity bags available for children to use during the service to mitigate limited attention of children. Children may pick these bags up before service and drop them off when the service is complete. The bags are located in the Narthex next to the Cry Room.
